Something really weird occurring here.

When using the external editing function in Lightroom (cmd+E) to open a TIFF file (ProPhoto) in Photoshop CC 2017, Photoshop is slightly DARKENING my image

I 've tried to export a TIFF file from LR and opening the file in Photoshop it works great.
I've tried to export a DNG file from LR and opening the file in Photoshop, it works great too.

The edit function (cmd+E) worked great before not sure what I 've done in between.

I am using the right Color settings in Photoshop so I really don't understand what's going on here. It's driving me crazy..

Any ideas? Thanks!

I am using Photoshop CC 2017 / Lightroom 7.0 and camera RAW 10.5

This is probably a profile mismatch. You use Photoshop CC with Camera Raw 10.5, which already uses the new XMP-based camera profiles if I'm not mistaken. Lightroom Classic 7.0 does not however, because those new profiles were only introduced with version 7.3.

Why are you still using these old versions? You paid for updates through your subscription, and then you don't install them...
