Photoshop: Improve slice handling (since it's successor of Fireworks)

It would be great if slices would be as it were editable in the Fireworks. (if Fireworks is a discontinued product). I mean for me and probably for some other guys it's a useful thing, if
- slices' name is permanently visible (or switchable in prefeneces if visible or not),
- slice(object)s are transferable to another psd via drag-and-drop or copy paste
- ability to give them color overlay, exactly as Fireworks do
- ability to make transformations on multiple selected slice objects
(now if I have slice objects like horizontal stripes, I can not select them all and scale
vertically, it's very annoying, you can transform only one slice even if you have
selected more)

Maybe this all are not impossibly hard to implement, because (as you probably know :) Photoshop has ready UI elements to place some more items to. If I'd be the one this task is charged to, I'd build this feature as a new type of layer. A special kind of vector shape layer, which can be filtered out if is not necessary, can be transferred via D'nD, and can be edited as a common shape object, automatically organized into a layer group, called Slices Group.
If users could create additional slice-groups they'd able to export versions of their job from one psd document - if visible slices can be exported only. In a pass you export your site's header, body and footer backgrounds, in another the above objects bacgrounds, icons etc.

Can an idea-sender take part in development/test process?
And this is a praise too, so anything goes, Photoshop is the best.
