Lightroom CC 2015: Exporting People keywords is inconsistent

In Lightroom CC/2015, "People" keywords are handled differently on export depending on how they are assigned.

If the "People" keyword is assigned through face recognition, then on export, the keyword (person's name) will be in the IPTC Persons Shown field.

But if the "People" keyword is simply assigned to an image, on export, the IPTC Persons Shown field is empty.

It seems like there should not be a difference. Once a keyword is defined as being a "People" keyword, and is assigned to an image, on export it should update the IPTC field, regardless of how the assignment was made.

Also, it would be nice if assigning a Person keyword also filled in IPTC Person Shown in the Metadata panel immediately. That would make it behave consistently with, say, Edit Capture Time.

I can't get Lr 2015 to put names in the IPTC field "person shown" on export, even if they are designated as "people" keywords, and even if they are located within the image. IOW they NEVER export to "person shown." I have to use the Search, Replace, Transfer plugin to copy them there.

Very poor.
