Hi,

When I try to export a file that have geo coordinated its often results on the following error:

If I use Publish Services instead of Export, it works fine.

I'm using LR 5.6 on Windows 7 64bit and the map tab is working properly.

Is this a LR issue or can it be caused by another sw?

Even if the file is damaged or corrupt due to other software, it's a bug that LR doesn't properly handle it.

To troubleshoot this, upload a sample problem file to Dropbox and post the link here. We can take a look at it and identify whether the problem is with LR or other software and perhaps suggest a workaround.

I set the geo coordinates inside lightroom, the original file doesn't have coordinates on its metadata.

This is why I think it is a bug on LR 5.6.

Providing a link to a sample file and precise step-by-step of how to reproduce the bug will make it more likely that Adobe will fix the bug.

I have the same exporting problem. I deleted the GPS data in the metadata of a DNG file to test if this was the problem, but exportation still does not work.

i have same issue, at least on one of my computers. I Uploaded a sample file (picture, gpx-track, step-by-step instruction) http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh...

Maybe it helps to solve the problem.

When I remove the coordinates the export works. It also works if I use the publish service to export these geotagged photos without remove the coordinates.

In my case the photos don't come from camera geotagged, the coordinates exist only in the LR catalogue.

Hi,
finaly I found a solution/workaround

change the export folder in the export settings to a "fix folder" instead of "choose later"

It seems that it was fixed in the Lightroom CC, at least I didn't have this problem any more.
