Lightroom CC: Exporting and resizing issue

When exporting photos to JPG in Lightroom CC, using the option to resize using a long edge of 5712 pixels (for example), all vertical images are exported correctly with the long edge being exported at the correct dimension.  However, ALL horizontal images are instead exported with the short edge at the input long edge dimension (i.e. short edge 5712, long edge 8568).  I have checked my settings and don't believe it to be user error.  I have since had to revert to using LR5, as my main client has very sensitive restrictions to maximum image size and resolution.

The settings I have used for export were long edge at 5712, 350dpi, restrict file size to 5700KB.  I am hoping it is just a coding glitch and a simple patch can fix this small but critical problem.

When you go to Help>System Info, what is your exact Lightroom version number?

It was the build released publicly on Adobe CC prior to 10.11, I updated last night after I posted this.  However, on a test export of one image on the current 10.11 build, it is still doing this. This is being done on a Retina iMac 27", i5 processor and 32GB of RAM, running OSX 10.11.3
