Lightroom CC: Exported jpeg has wrong color profile since latest update

Since the latest update (with the new color profiles management), when I export an image that was already in the catalog, the color profile used is not the one shown in the app.

Let me explain with this example: I have a B&W image, the color profile is therefore Adobe Standard B&W. But when I export to jpeg, the image is "converted" to color. It seems that the color profile used is Adobe Color, instead of Adobe Standard B&W. I have to click back on Color Profile and select again Adobe Standard B&W before exporting, in order to correct the issue.

I noticed that all my colored images with Adobe Standard profile, are as well exported with the Adobe Color profile. So I cannot trust the exported image...

No problem with Lightroom Classic CC version though, this happens only with the Cloud version.

Greetings Jérémy,

Files exported as JPEG format from Lightroom CC are exported in the sRGB color space - specifically: the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 profile.  This color profile is referenced in the JPEG file exported.

When you say "It seems that the color profile used is Adobe Color, instead of Adobe Standard B&W. " I am not sure what you mean. Are you bringing this exported JPEG file into Lightroom CC and seeing what profile is being applied by default?

A little more description or better yet, a quick video of what you are doing and seeing would help me diagnose the issue.

Hi Rikk,

Thank's for your reply. I was actually talking about the color/camera calibration (feature that has been recently renewed). Here is a footage of the issue, hope it speaks for itself.

Thanks for the video. It helps to see exactly what is happening.
I just tried the same operations and both of my images ended up Black and White.

What is your Operating System and OS Version?

Let's attempt a preference reset on your end to make certain that isn't the issue.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom CC.
2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom CC.
3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.
4. Close Lightroom CC.
5. Restart Lightroom CC.

Does the behavior continue after resetting the preferences?

Hello,

I was directed to this conversation from another thread because I am experiencing the same issue. I have uploaded the following video to YouTube, and I hope it illustrates the issue. Additionally, here are the steps in what I'm experiencing:

  1. Edit RAW photo in LR CC on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6
  2. Save edited RAW photo as black and white photo using Save To as JPG
  3. Open in Finder or Place Embedded in Photoshop, and the photo is in full color.
Here's the video.

We are thus-far unable to reproduce this behavior on any of our test machines.  Are you still seeing the issue?

This is weird. Every photo I have synced before the latest update shows this issue. New imported photos do not have that problem though.

Thank’s again.
