Please include an “Edit Time” rule option for Smart Collections. You have “edit date” which is good but what happens if I want to view all images that I’ve edited after 13:00 on a given day? The “edit date” has a “within last hours” variable which is dynamic as time passes, so with the number of images in the smart collection. Provide a static time as it is in Bridge CS5, please?

I agree that it would be good to allow time as well as date. As a workaround, the Any Filter plugin does provide that functionality.

I agree with John Ellis - perhaps the path of least resistance is to simply use AnyFilter.

That said, there are some other (plugin) options which may be of interest:
* Metadata Extensions - supports hour-of-day metadata for lib filters and smart collections.
* Smart Colluder (smart collection editor/debugger) - supports UI for editing times (hours, minutes..) in native Lr smart collections.

Both plugins are free and I wrote them.

If you prefer to avoid plugins, then you can export smart collection definition and open with a text editor, then enter value for "days" as a decimal number, for example .0417 is one hour. After editing, re-import smart collection definition. Note: Lr will no longer display the rule correctly, so you have to remember what's under the hood there..
