A fantastic idea for your 10's of thousands (or maybe more) UK users.  Why don't Adobe show us a little bit of respect and create a UK localised version of Lightroom/Photoshop etc that uses our native language (ie English).  I would think it would be simpler than most other language packs, as probably 99% can be copied across from the US version.  They just need to fix the blatant spelling errors such as 'Color' rather than 'Colour'.

I can't imagine this being a big issue for anyone and it is apparently not as you are the first one to ever bring it up as far as I can remember.

It is not a showstopper, its just arrogant and disrespectful by Adobe.  Most people know that Adobe won't listen, so why waste the effort raising it.  I'm assuming nobody from Adobe dev teams reads this stuff, it's just fanbois defending them.

It's not arrogant and disrespectful. It's just common sense. The USA market is much, much bigger than the UK market. And UK users have no trouble understanding the spelling differences. Spending resources for such trivia would be ridiculous.

As far as I know, Adobe uses International / US English in all their applications. I think Color and Favorite are the only offending terms in Lightroom, and it's not as if it's a word processor. But hey up, maybe we should demand Yorkshire English! And a left hand drive Lightroom too?

John, you must take this seriously! I’m sure that thousands of potential British customers are lost to Adobe because ‘colour’ is spelled ‘color’ in Lightroom!

Left to us Brits, Johan, Cloudy Lightroom would have been called Lightroom McLightroomFace! See here if you don't get the "serious" point. Which might have been an improvement....

The OP created an account TODAY just to complain about "colour" being spelled "color" so it must be important
