Environment: 2013 Mac Pro w/dual AMD D500/3 GB GPUs running MacOS 10.14.5

In LR 8.3 (build 201905061635-edecdfdb), Enhance Details fails with pop-up diagnostic error message "Unsupported Hardware Enhance Details requires a graphics card with Metal support" (see attached).

When invoked from ACR 11.3.1, Enhance Details works as expected.

Greetings Chris,

Lightroom 8.3.1 was just released. Can you update Lightroom via the Creative Cloud App and then let us know if you are still seeing the error message?

Yes: same behavior.  More detail in my emailed reply to Satish.

RESOLVED: An earlier LR config.lua file was present that set the "Develop.PreferOpenGL" preference to "true."  Once the file was deleted (on MacOS, the path is ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/config.lua) and LR was restarted, the Enhance Details feature again worked.  Thanks, Satish.
