Even if you unselect the "Embedded Color Profile" option in the "Export Panorama", your  saved files will always have the Color Profile attached.

I just created a panorama using CR, chose Export As in PS, made sure I neither converted to sRGB nor enabled Embed Profile, and my file is an untagged JPEG as exported.

I also created the same pano using Photomerge inside PS, then saved the layered version and disabled Embed Color Profile. It kept the profile anyway. I then flattened it to Save As, not Export As, and it still saved the profile, despite Embed Color Profile being unchecked. So layers or not layers isn't the issue.

I used Export As again, and again, it saved it untagged, so it's using Save as instead of Export as from Photoshop that's embedding the profile.

Sounds like a bug to me. The behavior should at least be consistent between Save As and Export As as far as embedded profiles go.

Try using Export -> Save for Web. There are options for color profile that you're saving the document with.

There are options in all 3 dialogs for exporting/saving as, whether using legacy SFW or not. The problem the OP mentioned is that Save As doesn't honor the option provided, the way exporting the file does.
