Elements: Editor 12 Freezing Up after saving and closing photo

I have your latest version of Photoshop Elements 12. I have experienced twice now where the Editor part of the software freezes up after saving and closing a finished photo. I try to continue on by opening a new photo to edit from the organizer and cannot get back into editor.

Were you able to fix your problem? I also have Elements 12 but when I try to open it, the page freezes up and I cannot do anything! I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing seems to work. This is a great program if you can get into it. I purchased Elements11 and would have the same problem off and on, I purchased this version hoping that the problem was fixed..... but I cannot get into it at all! The opening page freezes up and becomes non-responsive. I have to use task manager to close it down.
Please let me know if you came up with a solution. I was on "chat" and waited over an hour to ask someone only to find out that the advanced techs are not available on the weekend.

I am having the same problems in Elements 12 Editor. I've only had it a couple of days and twice now it's frozen and won't allow me to edit any further images nor will it close. Ugh....this is incredibly frustrating! Searching for the solution.....

Hi Jennifer! This is very frustrating and even worse when you try to get online and chat for some answers! I love the product when it works, however, hold my breath as this has happened to me 2 or 3 times. I ended up saving my registration number, uninstalling everything and reinstalling it with my antivirus turned off. It took several attempts, but seems like the program is working now. I hope this helps you as it took me forever to get mine working again. Good luck, and let me know if you have success.
