I have downloaded Elements 9 on trial version, planning to purchase next week. All of a sudden the program is running very slow and actually freezing for a few minutes at a time......what's the problem with it ?

Hi nyweb2001, is the Photoshop Elements Editor or Organizer running slowly?

Do you have the latest updates? Choose Help>Updates... to make sure you 9.0.3 installed.
Has anything changed recently that coincides with the slowdown? (Install any fonts, plug-ins, security software, or utilities?)

Have you changed your display DPI settings to something other than 96dpi or the default setting?

It's up to date......no changes other than Redynamix. Haven't changed display settings.

Can you try disabling Redynamix and see if things are peppy again?

Thanks. If we determine it is the plug-in, we can see if there's an update for the plug-in and/or work with the developer to sort out what's going wrong.
