Elements 12 Organizer crashes

I’m using Adobe Elements 12, and it regularly crashes. When it crashes I get the following message “Elements Organizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.” How do I fix this problem? I’m using Windows 7 on an HP EliteBook 8560w. I installed the update for 12 and checked the display drivers to make sure they are up to date.

Can you try making a new catalog, import some images and then see if Adobe Elements 12 crashes. You can make a new catalog by going to File->Manage Catalogs, catalog manager dialog box would open up , you can make a new catalog and import images in this.

Thanks Saurabh. Organizer has not crashed with a new catalog. Would you know if it is possible to import albums into a new catalog?

Are you using converted catalog or is it a new catalog in Elements 12?

I made a new catalog and it ran fine until I had re-imported about 17000 photos, and now it is crashing again.

I had the same problem, but I noticed it started after I had downloaded a PDF and when I tried to retrieve it, I got the "can't open message." I deleted the downloaded file and I am now able to access the program. This was about ten minutes ago so I haven't had time to work with it in detail.

Hi same problem here
My os is Windows 7 64 home prem.
This happens now when I try to export images.
Made a mistake to also export images that where already jpg. Corrected this and still the same problems.
I am going to build a new catalog as mentioned above. I will keep you informed

I have the same problem but after the program asks for registartiomn for my adobe id

Thank you for your info neither windows or adobe seem to be addressing these problems for us will keep reading in the hope an answer will be found
