Elements9 will not allow me to return (minimize) an image to the project bin.

I purchased and installed PS elements 9 on a Windows Vista and Windows7 os. In both cases, I can not minimize (return to the project bin) a picture I have opened in the workspace. The option is dark when i right click on the image, and does not show up on the upper right corner of the work space. Inability to minimixe the picture renders the program completely useless to me. Any help would be much appreciated.
I thought I was doing a good thing by upgrading from Elements6 to Elements9. The joke is on me, I guess. What a disapointment!

Using Photoshop 9, I had the same frustrating experience. I found a solution. If you select you'll get separate windows for each photo and you'll have access to the minimize bar at the upper right corner of each separate photo window. I hope thishelps.

My reply was cut off. Let me try again. Select "Window" from the main menu, then select "Images", then "Float All in Windows." That will give you the minimize bar.

thanks for the info, Larry. Alas, the "Float All in Windows" option is dark and unfuctioning on my screen. I'm stumped.
