Elements: Organizer is not currently licensed

12/2/16. As I told my amazon review, after I purchased Elements 15 around 11/13/16 I get a message "elements organizer is not currently licensed" and can't run the elements 15 organizer. It suggests I run the editor and license it, but that doesn't happen. Googling the message turned-up a 2012 adobe forum conversation which didn't seem to have any likely solution.

Any ideas?

Hi James:
What happened when you launched the Editor?
Did it work properly or ask you to enter a serial number, or go into Trial mode, or ????

The Organizer licensing works off of the Editor Licensing, So, once you get the Editor licensed up properly, the Organizer should work fine.

Share any details you have around what happens when you launch the Editor.
Thanks
Bob

12/3/16. Hi; thanks for responding. ... But it's hard to believe that Adobe doesn't know about elements version 10 screwing-up the licensing of Elements 15, which was apparently my problem. Uninstalled version 10, and the version 15 editor *and* organizer work without whining! ... At least yesterday they did ... and today!

-- best wishes

Hi James:
Good to know.
Yes, sometimes the licensing between different versions gets whacked. It's not common, but does occasionally happen.
We could probably have worked through correcting it, but it sounds like you've solved it on your own be un-installing PSE10.
Good job!
Hope you enjoy PSE15.
Cheers
Bob

I am getting the same message after months of using Elements 15. And I have no other versions of Elements on my computer. What's going on here and why is the Organizer suddenly not working after working well for months?

Hi Danton:
Is the Editor working?
As mentioned above, the licensing of the Organizer is really controlled by the licensing code in the Editor. If for some reason your Editor has become un-licensed (Like, if you happened to have Signed Out in the Help menu), then the Organizer will also stop working after some time.
Please launch the Editor, and see if it is giving you any kind of licensing message. If it does then re-enter your Serial Number and you should be good to go.

Let us know how it goes.
Cheers
Bob

I got the same message after using 1 month.  I have Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, but the Lightroom is always crash and I do not to want to pay monthly.  I bought the Photoshop Element 15 from Amazon and it seems working well in the beginning.  But I got this message after installing Bridge.  Try to uninstall Bridge, it says missing file to uninstall.
