I you import separately a batch of raw files and a batch of the same files edited in jpeg, you can use the automatic stack suggestion feature to group them. The problem is that the raw file is always set as 'top of file' when everyone expects the jpeg to be for rational use of the organizer.
I suggest changing the order or giving an option.

I fully agree with this and would like to see this feature as well. In Aperture, this was a now brainer and had nothing to do with automatic stack management. Aperture would allow to decide if the RAW and JPEG are shown separately or "stacked" together, with the decision which of them to show. I think the RAW/JPEG management of Lightroom could be significantly improved and leave more options for the user how to handle these. I also find it unacceptable that once you have decided not to import RAW and JPEG separately, you have a nightmare of a workflow to get the jpegs again. Please improve RAW/jpeg management!
