Elements Organizer 14: Does not use the existing keywords hierarchy when importing.

Importing files with keywords written to metadata while the keyword categories are present always put the keywords in the 'imported keywords category' instead of the existing hierarchy.
To reproduce:
- In an existing catalog, save the keyword hierarchy to a text file
- create a new empty catalog
- import the keyword hierarchy from the text file
- import files from the existing catalogs.
All the keywords are put in the 'imported keywords' category.

Original complaint in the French forum:

The fact that this behaviour has been found on a converted catalog is not relevant for me.

Just tested the process again, with the same result. It may be worth noting that I only use 'standard' keywords, no People, Places or Events categories. A major 'broken' feature.

A major 'broken' feature that's stoping me from upgrading. Thankfully I trailed the upgrade before wasting my money. I can not understand how Adobe can allow this major bug to remain.

For a fix, you should have an updated version. The present 14.1 version is not fixed. Maybe in the next 'Elements 15' version?

Edit:
Yes, the bug is corrected in version 15.
