Elements GPS metadata not automatically being pinned

I recently updated Mac verison from PSE 12 to PSE 15. I have pictures with GPS metadata that are not being automatically pinned to their location on the map in the places window. Also when I manually add a location is there a way to set up different places pins in the same city? When I add an address to a picture it creates a places pin. However if I add a different address to a different picture in the same city it overrides the previous place but still labels it the same city. I want to create different places tags for the same city based on addresses or the GPS data in the metadata. Is there any way to do this? I thought a picture with GPS metadata was automatically pinned to the map and a pin was created.

Can anyone help me utilize the places was better?

I don't have any problems with images with GPS data imported to PSE - a correct pin is shown in Places.

In v15, PSE lost ability to differentiate locations beyond city level (so, everything pinned in Warsaw will get place name of Poland>Mazowieckie Voivodship>Warsaw). I guess this is the reason for your problems.

I don't know any way this could be easily worked around.
