Bought Elements 15 Nov. 2016 to upgrade from 13. Immediatly had problems. Buttons and features would not work. After many emails, 5 phone conversations, 6 IT sessions lasting over 10 hours and dealing with an IT group 11.5 hours different, my problems were repaired. All features now work but the Organizer is very very slow. I have been pleased to use this program since version 5. However I cannot reccommend 15. If 16 is not any better I will search for a new product.

Coiuld not agree more with your sentiment. I downloaded a Trial version and it is no better then PSE 12. (I only bought PSE 12 because it performs  Photomerge) but there are many photographic software packages that do as good a job at a fraction of the cost of the Adobe products

HI David,

Sorry for the inconvenience..
As discussed is our last meeting, the performance issues on your machine were coming due to a process named : Microsoft Compat TelRunner that was consuming most of the disk space.
Can you please confirm if this process has not started again?

Also, by Organizer running very very slow, can you please provided more details here, like:
1. Any particular workflow in Organizer where you are facing this issue?
2. Is Face Recognition running on your catalog?

Thanks,
Anwesha

Let me start by saying "Thank you" for the time you invested working on my computer.

I am not changing my opinion about Elements 15, IT IS JUNK. I have owned many versions of this program and have been happy with them. I run high end game programs, (Civilization 6...) on my laptop with no problems, why could not Elements 15 have been created to do the same.

In my emails and phone conversations with different Adobe people, I got the impression that they knew the program had serious issues and they had no idea how to repair it. Two of the IT people took over my computer and after many hours gave up, that they had to research the problem and never recontacted me.

So what if "Face Recognition" is running? The program was designed with that feature and it should work correctly. I am really tired of hearing excuses on why this program does not operate the way it is advertised.

Elements 15 has cost me a lot time and money.

Besides the initial cost of the program, I am out the cost of adding 8 gigs of RAM to my laptop that one of the IT specialists said I needed to do to make Elements 15 work correctly, to no avail. Twice, I had to make contact with IT at 10pm Central time so that I could catch them during their work hours in India (lets not make it easy for the paying customer). Both sessions lasted after midnight and I wake at 4am to go to work.

I have decided not to use Elements 15 any longer. I am going to delete it and go back to Elements 13 till I can find a replacement for it. "MediaShow 6" looks to be quite similar to Elements and I am hoping it works better.
