Elements 14 license on 2 computers

I have Elements 14 loaded on my desktop and laptop.  When I want to switch computers I currently must log out of the current computer and log in again on the new computer and then I am required to enter my license key on the new computer every time.  I understand the log off/on process, but entering the license key every time is excessive.  Did I miss a step somewhere?.  Doesn't the software save the license key somewhere???  Thanks, Mary

You are allowed to have two computers 'activated' at the same time. That means that when you 'sign in', an activation server saves a link to your present hardware and you can work according to the license as long as you want, provided you don't 'sign out', which deletes the link.
Signing in or signing out is not like loggin in or out on an Internet server. You need to sign in once, and you may sign out if you want to free your licence for use in another computer. You don't need to be connected to the Internet once your are signed in, it's only necessary at activation time and for checking by Adobe once in a month.
So, you have to activate (sign in) with two of your computers without 'signing out' at the end of a session.

Hi Michel,  Thank you so much!!!  I was making it much harder than it needed to be - which is what I suspected.  I have stopped signing out and all is now well! Mary

I have 14 installed on my Desktop and Laptop. You should not have to enter the licence key every time, once you have activated the program on both.
