Adobe Elements 13 Upgrade will not allow me to install it on my B:\ drive even though I stipulated that drive during the installation. Now I am getting messages that I am out of disk space and the upgrade failed. This needs to be taken care of. I reported this a week ago on the support discussion group to shigoel@adobe.com and sent log files but have not gotten a response.

Hi Laura,

I finally got your logs. The logs suggest that installation failed due to low disk space on your machine.

Let me clarify the situation here:
When you install PSE13 there are multiple things(STIs and PSE Editor) that gets installed like Camera Raw, Microsoft Visual Runtimes ,Sonic, Elements Organizer and Photoshop elements Editor.

When you choose to install at custom location( B:\ drive in your case) then Elements Organizer and Photoshop Elements Editor would install at custom location but the common STIs(those are shared by multiple products like Photoshop , Premiere Elements etc..) gets installed at common location in booted drive i.e. C:\ drive. It is as designed behavior for multiple products to use same Shared components without any redundancy or issues.

I hope the situation is clear now and for PSE13 to install without any issue on your machine you would need to empty some space(approx 1.5 GB) on your C:\ as well.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
