Elements 13 & 15 problems

Some months back I began having problems in using "Help", each time I got this message "There was a error in launching default browser", It then went on to say I should uninstall and the reinstall which I have done many times without any success. I then decide to upgrade to Elements 15 to see if that would resolve the problem. Nothing changed. Although I have the latest Adobe Flash Player and it is switched on the programs do not appear to recognise it. So I now have two programs and neither work as they should. I would really enjoy a solution to this problem.

Hey John,   

Which OS and version do you have?  Which browser and version?   Error messages are true to their problem these days.   Have you tried to use a different browser?  The problem doesn't seem to be in Adobe, so try a different browser.  One that is entirely generic is Google Chrome.  Have you tried that one?  It's basic, and not your style, but it will determine if the browser or Flash is the problem.   If you haven't tried that one, it will work with anything because it has 1995 elements and today's elements too.   Turning on and off the Flash won't determine the Flash problem because your browser or Adobe may not be using it at the same moment in time.   You really need a new browser  man.   Sounds to me like your browser is not connected to Windows.   Do you have Windows 10?  there may be a reset for it instead.   You need to tell me your OS and version and your browser and version.   ok bud?

Steve, sorry to take so long to come back. You hit the problem right on the head since making Google Chrome my default browser my problems have gone and all is running fine. Once again thank you very much for your reply.
