Elements 12: 'Trial' screen displayed when opened. It used to work fine until this week.

I purchased the photoshop elements 12/premiere elements 12 bundle in Feb 2014. We installed it and it has worked perfectly. Now, all of a sudden, when I open either program it takes me to a 'trial' screen and wants me to sign in and start the 30 day trial or purchase the program. What's up?? I have 2 weddings to do and am getting more than a little frustrated.

It sounds like something modified the licensing token on your system. What changed? Did you do any system restores? Install or run any system cleaners or virus scanners?

Did you originally license using a serial #? If so, click on [License This Software] and enter your serial #.

The only thing I did was to go to the settings on the welcome screen and change the setting to where it would bring up the program instead of the welcome screen each time. That's when Premiere Elements quit working. After this occurred, I was able to use Photoshop on Monday, but then it also started doing the same as premiere elements.
Somewhere I found a screen that listed the info including the serial #, etc but that number didn't fit the spaces provided on the 'license this product' screen. Of course, I can't find that screen again. I know there should be a # on my packaging but I can't find that either. All I have is the 2 instruction books, 2 discs, and the sleeve they came in. Am I missing it somewhere???

IF it's asking for a serial number, and you have registered PSE12 with your AdobeID account, you can goto adobe.com, sign in, then check your "My Products" to see if the serial number is listed there.
