Photoshop: Effect does not affect all frames at once. (CS5)

I'm making a gif with PS5. Now I've got a few frames in my animation bar (bottom). On the right I have my layers plus all the grouped-up PSD's I'm using for the gif.

I must have clicked something wrong or typed in something accidently because it usually worked like this:

I have my first frame selected and then just clicked my PSD (which is in a group) and it would affect all the other frames as well. but now it doesn't do that anymore. It only affects the first frame and it won't affect the other frames unless I select them all and then add every layer of the PSD manually.

What happened here?!

I had this problem before and re-installed the whole program because I just couldn't figure it out. Now I'm here, because I think I'm out of luck or PS just doesn't like me anymore. ;)

Please help me guys. :)

Thank you!

Select all the frames you want the adjustment to be applied to and make sure the visibility (eye) icon is turned on.

Jeffrey, thank you.

I know how it works with the eye and everything. But it doesn't change the problem. I never had to select all frames, only the first and just simply click on the group with my adjustments to affect all other frames after the first. But now i have to actually select all frames and the. also have to not only activate (with the eye) the group of adj. i want to add but also de-select and re-select every single adj. within this group in order to affect all selected frames.
it's kind of annoying. :(

figured it out myself.

-if anyone else ever got the same problem just go to the top right where it says "essentials" and then right click and pick 'reset essentials'... that'll do the trick.

basically clicked every available button until i found the solution.
