Is there any way to change keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop Elements 10? Using [,] to change brush size is problematic on a Swedish OS, Photoshop does not seem to recognise modifier keys.

In case anyone else have this problem, this is how I solved it temporarily:
I installed AutoHotkey which lets you re-map keyboard input.
Then I wrote this script which will catch Numpad- and Numpad+, and send it as [ and ] to PSE as Unicode instead:

; Brush size remapping for photoshop elements 10
; changes input from Numpad- & Numpad+ to [ & ]
; photoshop listens to unicode for this keyboard shortcut
#IfWinActive ahk_class pseeditor
NumpadSub::SendInput,{U+005B} ; [
NumpadAdd::SendInput,{U+005D} ; ]
return

There isn't a way in the Elements 10 to customize the shortcuts like you can in Photoshop CS5 (although, I don't think you can customize this particular shortcut in Photoshop CS5 either).

That said, I'll have the team look at the issue. Sounds like there may be a localization problem with that shortcut.

Are you using an english keyboard or a Swedish keyboard?

I'm using a Swedish keyboard. Another solution is to switch input language to English, then I can change brush size using the å- and ̈-keys. However, combined with a tablet this won't work very well. By re-mapping the keys in AutoHotkey I can then bind them to keys on my tablet if I wish(I'm using the touch-strip to resize the brush). I should have mentioned this in my original post I guess. :P

OK. The Elements QE team got back to me. Does + and - work to resize the brush correctly?

No. + and - does nothing.
