Edit People recognition results

People recognition was introduced in today update. I am playing with it for a while and I am having issue with it. As a one "person" it often recognizes a bunch of random people or even things (even roller-coaster). And there is no way to manually select one of the pic inside and merge it with existing Person. In another words, I would like to help the AI where it fails.

Select them in the person's Grid view and right-click > Remove Photo from Person.

> no way to manually select one of the pic inside and merge it with existing Person

Select them in the person's Grid view and right-click > Move to [other named person]

Cannot find it. I guess this option is only on desktop app then, right?

OK I installed Lightroom also on my computer again and I can confirm you can make some basic edits as described.

Anyway, still having difficulties sorting people. For example, if I am getting a "Person" containing collection of very different photos I want to manually assign to the correct Person. There is no way for me to determine which face on the picture of two or more people is being tagged there. Is it a person A, person B or anybody else who was incorrectly tagged? I do not know and then I can not manually move it to the right Person. In the tags there is very often thumbnail from another picture so no lead there either.

Yep, that still needs further development. Rather than moving a photo to another person, I'd recommend simply removing them from this person for now. It'll throw the person back into the automation mix, so you'll come across it again later with other photos that are more likely to be the same person, which makes them much easier to identify.

Simple thing could help a lot - if you open tags and see faces tagged, those faces should be from that photo, not a cover photo of that person.

I like that idea. Make it a separate feature request so people can vote, and don't forget to explain why it's needed.
