The 'edit in' function using Topaz Labs plug ins won't open files in the skydrive folder in LR6 but will open them in LR5.7. Why not? What can I do to fix it.

One thought I didn't mention on FB - can you export to the skydrive folder without any problem? What about using other third party plug-ins?

I can export when using LR5.7 but get error when using LR6, the specified folder is not writable. The catalogues are the same.
I don't have any other plug-ins. Something's amiss.

Have you tried the suggestion at the end of the thread I sent you -
You have to check "Enable this program to work with OneDrive files" here: C:\programs/adobe/adobe lightroom, trigger the context menu on lightroom.exe, click properties and look for "compatibility". After that it worked for me again.

There's a screenshot here:

That fixed it. Why Lightroom chose to require permission for Onedrive only, I'll never know.

The OS is doing something special for SkyDrive files, not LR, so you have to tell the OS to undo that something special so LR can see the files.
