Lightroom Classic: Economode Missing from Print Module

Lightroom 5 and 6 had a button in the print module called "Economode", and Lightroom Classic doesn't.  This stopped you printer from printing gloss enhancer on the borders of the photo, and only added it to the image.  Every time I print now, instead of having a white border, the border is white, but covered with a gloss enhancer.  1 this is wasting a lot of ink/money, and 2 it looks horrible.  Can someone please help me?

Hmmm...I don't ever recall seeing that in Lr.  Sounds more like a feature you'd find in a printer driver than the Lr application itself.  What printer are you using?

oh shoot, sounds like it was a driver.  Does nobody else have a problem with this?  I'm using a HP Design Jet Z3100

From HP's knowledge base -
HP Designjet Z3100 Photo Printer Series - Gloss Enhancer Feature

What about it; got nothing to do with Lightroom.

Oh for goodness sake...that's what I said in my first post.  The second was just a link to HP's site to try to help the poor guy find the economode setting in his printer driver.

Oh for goodness sake... As he was told, there is no such button in Lightroom and never has been. We are in violent agreement about that fact.

I'm pretty sure that in the LR Classic Print module the "Page Setup" button followed by the Properties button brings up the settings panels for the printer driver of the selected printer.  Perhaps this is where Michael had seen it before.  If so, and it's not, there now, perhaps a generic driver has replaced the HP driver for that printer.

Michael, is it possible that this is where you had seen it before?  If so and if it's not there now, try updating the printer driver with a fresh one from HP and see if that fixes the issue.
