Photoshop: Easy way to use camera raw from an open PS file

The features in Camera Raw are great. The sliders, CLARITY, selective color adjustments. I use it even on non RAW files. But, once inside PS, there is no easy way to get back to those sliders. Can you allow us to SEND TO CAMERA RAW from within PS? I realize layers would not work, but you could create a flattened layer and open in CR. Very much like NIK color efex plugin takes your image in where you can ad STRUCTURE (CLARITY).

Camera Raw's feature are great but need to be better integrated in the PS workflow.

Yes, I can save a flat tiff, go to Bridge and reopen it in CR. But that gets silluy when I just need some clarity, or to do basic adjustments.

You can edit any raster layer, including Smart Objects, using the Camera Raw filter:

Filter>Camera Raw Filter...
