I am getting a dynamiclinkmediaserver error when I try to open some folders in Bridge but not others. Bridge locks up completely and I have to go to the task manager and shut it down. I am up to date on CS6 and can see the files in Photoshop, but can't do the things I would like to do in Bridge.

Hello, what kind of video files are in those folders? Are you on Pc/Mac? Do you have quicktime installed? what version?

The files are NEF. I am a photographer and shoot with various Nikon cameras. I have all the updates for opening files from Nikon. There are subfolders in this batch of photos. Some of the file folders open fine, but others give me this dynamiclinkmediaserver error message. All of the files are NEF shot with Nikon D4 camera. It is odd that some open while others get the error message.

I did a chat with Adobe support and was able to resolve the problem by removing the .wav files from the folders. The tech moved them to the desktop and they are still useful, but the recent update doesn't tolerate the inclusion of these files. Adobe will have to fix this bug. My local computer tech went online with the error message and saw about 3,000 complaints.
