You could also do it by creating a panel of object styles (like indesign). But with the Creative Cloud Libraries  I see it much faster and more intuitive.

Dynamic styles in general have been on my wishlist since forever. Every time, a dev or moderator posts about how you can only delete and re-make styles. Instead of repeating how it can't be done, please consider ADDING the feature.

This is reason why I want migrate to another software this year.

Now I am using linked smart objects which are used as cliped mask. So there is one object which has multiple instances. Like this: https://youtu.be/qkgsGhwG7rI?t=4m17s But it is not suitable for my workflow beacuse it turns your layers workflow into chaos.

This is why exists plugins like:
http://www.codeadventure.com/prisma
and
https://madebysource.com/product/colorkit/
and
https://casualnotebook.com/ditto

but I am not sure about performance. Native support is always better.
Just look how smooth can be native support in a competitive software. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh8YOzB7IQk

I do not like smart objects either, it's chaos.
I want to change the color of several different objects (circle, personal shape, text, gradient, ...) with a single click.
That can only be done with a dynamic color or stylus of objects (as does Affinity).
Dynamic color is more powerful.

Something so simple can be done natively. It would save us a lot of work.
Adobe developers:
 // text, shapes, ...
Class vectorShape: public Graphic {
 ...
Int color = # 1254812;  // current color
Int dynamic_color = # 1254812 // is recorded as dynamic.
 Int Radio;
 ......
 };

 The plugins do not like because in the end they stop working with the new versions.
Affinity designer is very very productive. In the end users what we want is to do something in the smallest number of steps. The video of the smart objects to change the color is a total chaos.
