i have a dual monitor setup, i like to have thumbnails on monitor 2 and the develop single image on monitor one. however, when i import files, it defaults from grid to loupe on monitor 2, this means i have to keep changing it back again to grid, there seems to be no way to stop this. what is needed is a default command that allows you to set your preferred use of the grid/loupe view on monitor 2. i find this annoying as i don't like it when a program overrides what you want it to do and then have no choice in changing it

What happens when you have the Grid (Thumbnails) view on Monitor 1, and the Single Image on Monitor 2? That's the way I work, and it never switches on me. Make sure you check the View/Second Monitor settings.
