Photoshop: Dual Layer/Folder Names - one for descriptive name, one for Generator output naming

So I as much as I love Adobe Generator for assets I find myself creating duplicate psds; a working one and for lack of a better term a "export ready" one which has all the folders and layers named properly for Adobe Generator.

This starts to grow overwhelming and unmanageable after a couple iterations of the design. Especially when design is running parallel with dev production and phasing out features which have updated/new assets that go along with it.

That being said it would be awesome if layers had a dual-name toggle – a name that is more work/edit friendly and the other for the generator. Similar to how After Effects has a layer name and a source file name and you can toggle between them.

Having one psd that has layers that are easy to scan and be used as a working file and easily toggle to the export ready names.
