Layer styles question for Photoshop CS5:

On a layer, I have a shape with a drop shadow (and other layer styles). The angle of the shadow is 90 degrees. When I duplicate the layer to a new file the angle of the drop shadow changes to 120.

What can I do to avoid this happening?

See the checkbox that says "Use Global Light"?
That means that each document has it's own light angle (to keep the effects consistent within that file).

So having it change when moving the layer to a new file is expected as long as that checkbox is checked.
