Lightroom Feature Request: Love Lightroom, HATE the Library Import. Please, please (Win7) as in Bridge allow us to paste or type in a directory at the top. I have a lot of drives and having to manually navigate a drive to folders is a PIA, particularly if I'm importing (essentially PS files). It would be easy to add the ability to paste in the directory to import from.

Second. PLEASE, allow us to just drag files, either to the IMPORT/LIBRARY or maybe directly to a LIBRARY/Collection folder. I can live without being able to apply import presets or meta data.

It could not be that hard to allow us to drag a single, multiple of folder of image files to Lightroom and have them imported to the library.

For me, I'm continually finishing TIFFs from PS, then importing to LR5 to catalog, fine tune in DEVELOPMENT, and PRINT (with you 5 star EXCELLENT) Print module.

It is really hard after printing with LR, to go back to PS's print dialog.

Just need to help us speed up bringing in our files to LR environment. The Library/Import, navigate drives and folders, deselect everything. check the one image to import, import, move to collection folder (or add to target collection). Then start working. You can see how just dragging a file to a collection window is just 1 easy STEP!!!!

Other than that. Major fan of LR5!!!!

Thanks
