Photoshop: Drag + hold no longer works in any brush tool. I saw the fix "uninstall Synergy" and I never had this installed. Any ideas?

Drag+hold to paint with any brush only results in one individual spot at a time being created.

Which version of Photoshop? (Creative Cloud covers 3 major versions)

And was this happening before you installed MacOS 10.10?

It was working before- that could be it- is there a known issue with it?

Is "Use Graphics Processor" enabled in Preferences>Performance?

Is there a reason you're not using the latest version of Photoshop (2014.2.2): http://adobe.ly/PS-Up-To-Date

And I am showing 2014.2.2- I may have misunderstood you needed to know it was up to date. Anyway, Creative Cloud updates regularly.

It definitely sounds like something is conflicting with Photoshop.

Are you running any system extensions? They usually show up here in System Preferences:

Try booting in safemode to disable system utilities: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...
