Photoshop: DPX metadata changes when edited

I'm working with large DPX image sequences and when touching up individual files with Photoshop the color grading system has issues playing back these frames. Looking into it, seems that Photoshop is changing some of the metadata. The most important is the Frame Rate tag.

Original frame:
DPX File Size                   : 33185792Creator                         : AUTODESKFrame Rate                      : 24

Photoshopped frame:
DPX File Size                   : 33179648Creator                         : Cineon Format Plug-In (PhotoShop)Frame Rate                      : inf

DPX frames are used in motion picture work so the Frame Rate is an important piece of information that should be preserved.

Does Google use this dropped metadata in any way? Google is extremely tight-lipped about video and metadata, it's hard to edit on videos and they probably don't say what they might use.

Hi dfort, could you send me a file that has an Autodesk Frame Rate so I can try and duplicate? (dropbox/Creative Cloud sync URL/link) Thanks
