Photoshop: Can't download trial version of Photoshop successfully

I'm unable to download the trial version of "Photoshop." The message says it is because the install program is not configured properly and that I should contact the "author." What next?

Go into Applications (mac) or Programs (windows) and delete the "Adobe Download Assistant" and retry.

I did this. Unfortunately, the "Adobe Download Assistant" precedes the "Photoshop" software each time I try to download "Photoshop" and it's a never ending process. Another idea?

Hmm. It should work if you delete the "Adobe Download Assistant" and reinstall it.

Short of that, you can bypass the assistant here:

Be sure to follow the "Very Important Instructions" section to avoid error.
