Lightroom CC: Download from Shared Link

Sharing an album by link is useless to me if the recipient can't download images in bulk. If others could download, I would use this to share our organization's photos internally without giving editing access to Lightroom.

(I suppose others may want to prevent downloads for copyright reasons, so maybe having the option would help.)

This is a major flaw in my workflow. I love how easy it is to edit photos in LRCC, and to have cloud storage. But I can't find a good way to share those edited files, without having to download and resave them to my computer (defeats the point of cloud) and then upload to Dropbox or something.

Hi,
You can set shared links for download inside of Lightroom for the web. Sign in to lightroom.adobe.com, find your album, click on the gear for settings and set the checkbox for download in the share settings. There will be a download link on the grid page of the share that downloads a zip file of jpegs.
Thanks,
Richard
This is a really stupid workaround, fix your desktop app please.
The browser can't do anything and there is no easy way to get to the right point from the desktop app. Why are there things available in the web browser that do not exist at all in the desktop app? Why do I have to geht my hands down in multiple instances of the same programm just to get all of its functions? This is just not acceptable and I really hope you fix this issue.

The web interface has been in development a lot longer than the desktop app, and this is web sharing functionality. I'm sure it'll come - it was recently added to the mobile apps - but everything takes time.

Awesome! Maybe this is new since I last looked. Or I didn't look online. Thanks.

Glad you found it. It's been there for a while, but it can be hard to find.

It could be helpful to put a note in the Share dialog box on the desktop version telling you to go online for more options.

LOL I would never be looking for this on the web. This MUST be inside an app. Really.
