Lightroom: 3.6 continually crashes and dock isn't available

You will want to supply the details of the problems you are having, as well as platform information.

It sounds like you are on a Mac. Can you run the app with a fresh catalogue? Can you run it from a new test account? Make sure you disable all plugins, as well.

Can you supply Adobe with the crash log? There is a folder in your Library where these are stored, but I forget the exact path. Look for "crash".

Most of us are having no problems at all, so this is likely some interesting interaction between 3.6 and your system.

Hi Thomas, the crashing you describe isn't normal and sounds like it's system specific. As John explains, we'll need more info to help you sort it out.

In terms of the dock not being 'available' - do you mean that Lightroom covers the dock so you can't see it? Or that the Lightroom application icon doesn't appear in your dock?
