I'm using PSE 10. Since my catalog has reached the size of 100GB the backup doesn't work anymore. I tried un-installing and re-installing the software and no change: after I select the destination folder the software runs for a couple of hours before crashing.
Is this due to the size of my catalog ?
Pc with 8GB RAM, 2 TB data drive, 128GB SSD system drive, i5 760 @ 2.8GHz processor, Windows 7 pro 64b.
I need to use a third party soft to backup my pictures and catalog.

Hi Conor,

If you create a new catalog, are you able to run a backup of a new catalog?

Have you tried going through the troubleshooting steps in this doc? http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elem...

During backup, if you watch you SSD free space, do you notice it dropping due to a large temp file being created during backup? Also to say, are you running out of disk space on your main drive while backup is being performed?

Try these out, and let us know how it goes for you.

Regards,
Pete
