How to prevent LR 5 from exporting TIFF images with tag 59932?

- Just upgraded from LR4 to LR5.3

- Just got new laptop (Windows 8.1 64-bit OS)

- TIFF images exported from LR5 are causing (many) warnings when stitching panoramas using Hugin

- Hugin works fine on new laptop (no warnings) with TIFF images exported from LR4 on prior laptop (Win Vista)

- Hugin warning message: TIFFReadDirectory Warning: unknown field with tag 59932 (0xea1c) encountered.

- Images are being exported from Nikon D800 NEF RAW files

- Panorama stitching still works, but I am getting about 50-100 warning dialog boxes.

Is there a LR5 setting which allows me to prevent LR5 from including tag 59932 in TIFF images?

-or-

Is this a known issue with a fix in the works?

I cannot even find a TIFF tag listing which includes 59932 on the Web.

Thank you.

TIFF readers are supposed to ignore unknown TIFF tags.
This sounds like a bug in Hugin.

Thank you, Chris Cox. I will contact Hugin as I agree with you. That said, since I was unable to find any public record for this TIFF tag, I think Adobe should be made aware of this as well. And, I guess in one sense, Hugin is ignoring it since it is only issuing warnings. By the way, nice work on the excellent Adobe products:)

On this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/6045286

An acceptable workaround was described. Summary:
- Use Hugin in Expert mode
- Drop in images
- Press Calculate Control Points button
- Under Optimise, click both Calculate buttons
- Click Create Panorama

Result: only a single dialog box with warnings in a list - much better.

This thread is now RESOLVED.
