I just spent a few hours creating about 40 document size presets in photoshop.  I've been on with Adobe help and they cannot tell me how to sync these saved doc presets with creative cloud so that I can use them on my desktop.  In fact they can't even tell me where they reside so I can copy them and move them over manually.  I switch between my laptop and desktop all the time.  It does not make sense that creative cloud syncs EVERY preset except for this.  I will be spending the remainder of the day recreating all of these doc size presets on my desktop machine.  And I have a bout 150 more to create... TWICE.  Would love to see this be something that syncs in the future.  Your help people spent almost an hour trying to figure it out.  Finally they said... we did the best we could to help you.  That they did, but dang.

look in ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 Settings for a file called MRU New Doc Sizes.json.  I'm just looking at how this works, but after creating a couple of custom sized docs, that file has an array of dictionaries that have the doc settings.  There is also plain old New Doc Settings.json.  I am going to try pasting some of these def's from the MRU file into that one.

the MRU one is for "recents" and the plain one is for "saved"

Thank you, I tried copying the New Doc Sizes.json and then placing it on my desktop in the same place.  I restarted photoshop, but I still wasn't seeing any change.

you have to save the file in that preferences area, not Desktop

OK So that's where I put it.  I replaced the old file.  When I look in Text edit... it has long form text of all the doc sizes I created, along with the names I gave them.  However, when I open photo shop and navigate to saved. there is one file.  And it's not one of the ones I created on my laptop.  So weird.  Thanks for trying to noodle this out!

That does look like the right place. I tested this with the "new" new file experience. Are you using "legacy" or "new"?

Its on the first page of the preferences dialog. "Use legacy New Doc...#. I have it unchecked right now, shouldn't matter.

Also, Photoshop overwrites that file on exit. Quit Ps, update the file, then restart Ps. Reboot not necessary.

YOU David are the MAN!  Thank you.  That was it.  It kept overwriting it when I closed PS out.  Thanks so much.  I appreciate it.

Have a great day!

Everything should be synced in Cloud. Even my mouse has its extra buttons settings synced in the cloud. Or did you used word "cloud" only to justify monthly subscription? Google Chrome does this perfectly.
