Do Apple Devices Apply Any Lens Corrections in Their Image Processing?

HEIF and JPEG images taken by my iPhone or iPad, when imported to Lightroom Mobile, show noticeable corrections when lens corrections are enabled. Of course this is especially apparent with photos taken using the super wide angle lens.

This leads me to believe that Apple doesn't compensate for any distortions in its mobile device image processing. Is this an accurate assessment?

If so, I'm confused as to why Apple wouldn't implement such seemingly simple corrections across all of their devices.

Hi Tim, you should ask Apple and not Adobe, but I can tell that LR mobile is able to correct the distortion under „optics“
