I bought Photoshop Elements 10 mainly so that I could easily update the metadata but it doesn't write to DNG files (An Adobe product!) so a: How do I get around this OR b: How do I return the downloaded product?

Hi Anthony,

DNG can be created from camera raw files using the FREE Adobe DNG Converter. More details on downloading and using the DNG Converter here:

Elements 10 does recognize IPTC metadata.

You can access your file metadata in both the Editor (File>File Info...) and the Organizer (Right Click on an image and select "Show Properties..." - click the Medadata tab and click "Complete" to see all the metadata)
