Lightroom: Display problems dual screens LR4

LR4 works fine on my dual monitor setup until I exit or edit in CS5. The primary display vanishes and often leaves remnants of the UI. Restarting LR4 results in the secondary display appearing but not the primary. In Task Manager I can see that LR is running. So if I end task and restart LR all is fine till the next time. This occurs with or without Catalyst running or with Win 7 managing the displays.

Sounds like a video driver issue.

Determine what video card you have and go directly to the manufacturers website (nVidia or ATI/AMD) and download the latest driver. GPU and OpenGL support | Photoshop CS4, CS5: http://adobe.ly/OpenGL

It is up to date - Catalyst 12.1 and CS5 has been using OpenGL for ages on my system with no problems. The card is ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series. Any other ideas please?
