I've just installed LR4.4 on my 2-month-old laptop hard drive (a replacement drive loaded with VISTA 32-bit) and started importing a large number of files. When I started, I had approx. 360 gigs free on the 500 gig (465 usable) drive. After installing some 20-30 gigs, I received an error message that my "local drive C:" was running out of space and that I should act to free up some disk space. I hit "try again" and ultimately installed about 80 gigs more, when I received a critical message that "local drive .C:" was about empty. In fact, I had about 265 gigs still free on the drive. I've never had this issue on any previous version of LR. Any thoughts? Harry Endsley (firstname.lastname@example.org).
