Getting very dissappointed in Elements 9. Trying to make a photobook and have had several problems. This started happening after I updated the inspriational upgrade. Which after I got it, I removed it. Seemed to work better after that. I have spent months trying to put together this photo book. It is hard to work in, every time I change a page some sort of delay happens, needs to read and then re-read every page??? Then it gets in some mode and I can't save anything, I lose the work I had just put in, very disappointing. Tried to find an update for Elements 9 to hopefully fix some of the issues I am having.

We'll need more details to provide any sort of help on this one. No one else has reported any such issues, we can't fix what we don't know is there. However, this is no longer the current version, so we are no longer working on update patches, all such work is applied to the current version only.

However, what do you mean by "gets in some mode"? What are the characteristics of this "mode"? How do you know you are "in" it, aside from issues saving?

What sort of changes are you making to the book when every page has to be updated?

It largely sounds like you are running into a performance issue. What are your computer specs? What is the size of this project (number of pages, number of images, size of images, file type of the images)?
