Really i try to open multiple exr files(26 exr files). Everytime it's asking for background transparency setting. Really there should be option like don't ask me  again. I have to click ok for each of them.

1 option is to use  https://www.exr-io.com/ this will replace the default exr loader with a different dialogue box...that has a handy tick box down the bottom that say hide dialogue.
This is another option that helps but also brings up the annoying photoshop dialogue https://pulze.io/products/post-manager
You can use both together but there are some conflicts which is why I would like to disable the photoshop dialogue as I always need alpha channel

It should have been fixed by updating to the current version at the time.

What version of Photoshop and what OS/version are you seeing this problem on?

The original issues were that the dialog didn't remember the setting between opening each files and/or relaunching Photoshop. Currently, the only way to disable the dialog would be to create a script or droplet to ignore the open options and use the setting in the script or droplet.

I just use it for lightmaps etc. It's Windows 2018 version. But really it's annoying. There should be an option for this. I haven't used any script on photoshop. But i just needed this small option. I'm developing games. Sometimes i need to remap or recolor lightmaps. The plugin fixed the issue. But it should be default option. I just use automate for other things.

Thank for the reply Jeffery.
Sorry I didnt reply sooner been racing to meet a deadline.
In VFX work exr file format is the standard.
Workloads are intense and automation is a must.
Currently turning around 34 images broken into 20 render elements or a total of 680 exrs.
Renders are updated every few days . We have automated a lot of the pipeline, but these dialogue boxes keep popping up.
This is to try and give some example of why these dialogue boxes are Adobes version of the microsoft word paper clip.

Eray Avci please have a look at exr-io link above I believe it will sort your issue out as it is an alternative exr loader where you can turn the dialogue box off.

Are you saying you get the dialogs popping even with scripting Photoshop?

Piling on here. Aside from no support for industry-standard multi-channel EXR in 2020(?!), this popup drives me insane. It forces manual intervention every time an EXR is opened, making it impossible to batch process.
