Photoshop: Can we disable Creative Cloud settings sync globally?

Hi!
I’m looking for a way to disable Creative Cloud settings sync globally, so that it is not necessary to disable the sync for each application and for each user of a computer separately.
If the sync is enabled, all users of one Mac get their settings synced – and that’s not what we want.
Any ideas?

Background:
We signed up for Creatve Cloud for teams and we’re using Adoce Creative Cloud Packager to roll out the applications. Ideally we could set this setting during installation of CC.

Thanks
Paul

No, there is no global switch to disable the settings sync.
But since the sync is not automatic - just don't tell it to sync.

Also, the sync should be per-user signed into creative cloud. Are you keeping everyone signed in under just one Adobe ID?

Hey Chris,
thanks for your reply.

CC Sync is enabled in all apps by default after installation. So unfortunately we have to turn it off in each app.

Also the per-user login is by default somehow broken. If the administrator of a mac installs CC and logs signs in to CC for activation, ALL (local) USERS of the Mac are automatically logged in with the admin’s account by default.
So again, we have to tell each user to log out and sign in with their own credentials.

This is from an administrative standpoint not practicable notably due to the fact that sync settings look different in each app.
Is it somehow possible to deploy the settings file or are the sync settings included in app settings file?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Chris,

we have a similar use case in our company and want to disable the file synchronisation initially for all installations. As your answer is two years old I want to ask, if this feature is implemented in the Creative Cloud Packager in the meantime.

Kind regards
JP
